Our church
St Stephen's sits on a hill just outside Cold Norton village, Essex. The present church was built in 1855. We are linked to Charterhouse in London who are patrons. We have a small but dedicated congregation.
The current church was built in 1855, at the sole cost of the then Rector, The Reverend William Holland. It replaced a 12th century wooden frame, boarded church with a spire and two bells. When rebuilt, it had a bell tower, which was dismantled in the 1950s, having become unstable. Parking & accessibility
There is no parking at the church. Please park on the verge in nearby roads.
